Letters I-M

This week we will be working on letters I through M. Our ABC activities for this week will include an ice cream treat, jumping, brainstorming words that begin with k, a lollipop treat, and a movie day. We will continue with our alphabet activities as well. Here are our plans for the week.

Monday:
We will do some alphabet coloring pages. We will create paper ice cream cones using shapes. We will also treat ourselves to some real ice cream. We will do an I page in our alphabet books. The afternoon class will have a language lesson with Jacki Navarro.

Tuesday:
The students will create a jellyfish for the letter J. They will create a J page for their alphabet books. We will work on numbers 9 and 10. The afternoon class will work on grouping items in different number groups.

Wednesday:
The students will make kites for the letter K. They will make a K page for their alphabet book. The students will also do some letter stamping. The morning students will have a language lesson with Jacki Navarro.

Thursday:
We will use lemons, limes, and paint to create a picture. We will make an L page for our alphabet book. We will talk about short and long.

Friday:
The students will create a monkey for the letter M. They will make an M page for their alphabet books. The students will work on sorting both objects and letters. Both classes will also have gym.
